The organisation
Tasked with maintaining the UK's nuclear deterrent, the Atomic Weapons Establishment works to exacting standards. As one of the nation's largest high-technology research and development facilities, our scientific and engineering expertise is second-to-none.

The role

• Co-ordinating business risk and continuity processes, you’ll work closely with the Director, Senior and Middle Managers to promote and embed the very best standards throughout the organisation.
• Oversee training while continually reviewing, learning and improving strategies and processes.

The requirements

• Sound understanding of corporate governance and business & risk continuity management principles.
• Experience of implementing business risk & continuity management processes within a large organisation.
• An understanding of three point estimating is desirable, though training will be provided if necessary.
• MS Office package experience.
• Membership of Business Continuity or Risk Institute would be preferable.
