Title: Continuity of Operations (COOP) Specialist

Andersen Steinberg are seeking on behalf of their client, a consultancy, an experienced COOP subject matter specialist.
Job Description:
Business Continuity Planning Subject Matter Specialist will function as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all COOP issues for the organization assigned.
This SME will serve as the Program Manager, leading 4 Business Continuity Planners, and will establish the Enterprise COOP Program for the client.
SME should possess a minimum of 10 years experience COOP Planning, Business Continuity Planning or Disaster Recovery and be proficient in relevant principles and techniques of modern COOP planning.
SME will conduct COOP planning for the client to include: Information Gathering; Risk Analysis; Business Impact Analysis; Strategy Options Analysis; Plan Design & Documentation; Maintenance & Exercise Program Development and Maintenance; Create and Administer Awareness & Training Programs; Ensure COOP requirements are a consideration of customer as part of normal operational support; Coordinate COOP activities internally and externally with those entities identified by the client. Participate in COOP working groups; administer/operate COOP software.
Identify and implement COOP technical solutions in support of an overall COOP Program; Coordinate with COOP personnel before, during and after COOP events on behalf of the client; Participate in post mortems after COOP Events and Exercises to improve the Program.

Location: VA, USA
Andersen Steinberg are seeking on behalf of their client, a consultancy, an experienced COOP Planner.
Job Description:
The Business Continuity Planner will function as team member for all COOP issues for the area assigned.
Employee will conduct COOP planning across the Enterprise to include:
- Information Gathering
- Risk Analysis
- Strategy Options Analysis
- Plan Design & Documentation
- Maintenance & Exercise Program Maintenance
- Create and Administer Awareness & Training Programs
- Ensure Directorate considers COOP requirements of customer base as part of Directorate normal operational support
- Coordinate all COOP activities with Enterprise COOP Program Manager
- Participate in Enterprise COOP Working Group meetings
- Administer/Operate COOP Software for the Directorate
- Coordinate with Enterprise COOP Event Management Team during and after COOP events on behalf of the Directorate
- Participate in post mortems after COOP events and exercises to improve the program.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree required or equivalent experience & certification required.
ABCP/CBCP/CBRM certification preferred.
