Job Overview:
Functions as an oversight resource for the company’s Business user community in the business location, for implementing & exercising the complete BCM project lifecycle & related elements within the business continuity program.

Responsible for guiding the business unit BCPs so as to ensure that businesses at the location can respond to a business interruption or disaster, so that the critical business functions are continued or can be resumed within a defined time frame, with minimal impact to the business.

Our client has requested ASG acquire an all round BC manager (Assistant VP Level) who can run their full BCM program in Singapore. Our client features both commercial and investment banking as well as consumer banking with a presence of 1700 staff. All the basics of BCM is in place, like BIAs, BCPs, CMT, etc, and all has been periodically updated and tested. The challenge now is to bring this to the next level, by better alignment to business needs, by better engaging businesses in the process. At the same time the basics should be maintained. This requires not only knowledge and experience with the BCM life cycle, but also a good understanding of Banking and very strong communication skills. The candidate ideally will be degree educated in an appropriate area and must have excellent project leadership skills, with credibility and gravitas. Minimum of 4-5 years BCM experience essential. Multiple Asian Languages a benefit.
