Head of Corporate Security and Business Continuity (36852)

Location: T-Mobile, Hatfield, Hertfordshire
Role overview:

People are important to us here at T-Mobile. And that goes for our teams just as much as our customers. It’s why their working environment is so important to us. We’ve even renamed our Facilities department Employee Environment. After all, that’s what facilities is really about.

Major disasters are rare in the UK. But if a crisis does happen, you’ll make sure we’re ready for it. You’ll take the lead on all aspects of corporate security and business continuity, identifying risks, developing well thought out plans and looking after security teams right across the UK.

It goes without saying that your policies and procedures will be in line with all the right laws and regulations. And because you’ll need to get buy-in for your plans at Director level, we’re looking for someone who can make their presence felt right from the start.

With membership of an associated institute, and probably a relevant degree, you’ll bring experience in business continuity planning within another large, commercial organisation.

IT literacy is important and if you know a bit about Business Continuity planning tools, so much the better.

This role has a huge part to play in making T-Mobile a great – and safe – place to work. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, apply online.

Personal Requirements:
•Proven Commercial Acumen essential
•Strong analytical skills
•Strong communicator with the ability to influence at the highest level.
•Programme management skills

Closing date: 24/05/2008
