Ringmaster:

  • Vito Mangialardi AFBCI. Vito leads the Business Continuity Management for Metrolinx, the public transit operator in the Greater Toronto Area, where he is currently the Covid-19 Incident Command Team Commander. Throughout his 25-year career as a Senior BCM professional, he has led, enabled and motivated organizations to become more resilient to business interruptions. Vito is currently the Toronto BCI community Leader.

Panelists:

  • Lisa Jones MBCI. Lisa has over 13 years experience promoting resiliency and elevating contingency planning visibility. She has led comprehensive programs in healthcare and education and is currently leading collaborative efforts in building dynamic relationships between operations and technology for a global Life Sciences distribution and manufacturing organization. She also is the Secretary for BCI’s USA Chapter.
  • John Beattie FBCI. John Beattie has been a Principal Consultant within Sungard Availability Services for over 12 years where he consults on operational risk and resilience programs encompassing business continuity, disaster and data recovery, and crisis management programs. He previously held positions with News Corporation and Ernst & Young. John is a Fellow of the BCI.
  • Sarah Vakil MBCI. Sarah has over 10 years of experience as a consultant in business resilience and business continuity management supporting public and private sector clients in Canada, the US and internationally. She currently leads PWC’s BCM practice in Western Canada. She is also a member of the BCI Canada Board.
  • Des O’Callaghan FBCI. Des is a semi-retired BCM practitioner with over 30 years in the profession. Most of his time is now spent consulting, educating, presenting at conferences and filling various volunteer roles for the BCI, including leading the Canadian Chapter.
