BCI members and guests are invited to attend and contribute to a discussion on how organisations have reimagined their business, including insights and future operations. Presenters will talk about key areas, challenges or opportunities that were faced in order to continue to operate and succeed. Following the presentations, attendees are encouraged to ask questions and contribute to the discussion. 

We are fortunate to have the following four panellists joining, covering varied industries and bringing a multitude of considerations and experiences to the forefront. 

Nelum Cowell FBCI - Senior Resilience Manager, Salesforce
A Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute with over 30 years’ experience in all aspects of Business Continuity, Resilience, Incident and Crisis Response Management, Nelum has orchestrated significant achievements and milestones across multiple industries in the private sector in Australia and Asia Pacific as well as in the public sector in Australia.

In her current role as Senior Resilience Manager for Salesforce, Nelum is responsible for Incident Management and Business Continuity for Japan, India and APAC. 

Wasim Malik MBCP, FBCI, CRISC, GRCP/A, ITIL Expert, OCP – Global Head of GRC, Bravura Solutions 
Wasim Malik is an executive professional with over 22 years of experience in IT and BCM developing, implementing and maintaining the complete lifecycle of BCM for multi-national organizations across the globe - including Australia, New Zealand, UK, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE and India.
Wasim is a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute (FBCI), a Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) of DRI-Disaster Recovery International and an award-winning, extensively recognised industry leader. 

Stefanie Luhrs – Senior Associate, Barry Nilsson Lawyers
Stefanie Luhrs is a solicitor specialising in cyber claims. She has managed both small and large-scale incidents for domestic and international insurers and their insureds. She has acted in a large number of incidents as coverage counsel, privacy counsel and/or breach coach involving high profile data breaches, ransomware, denial of service attacks and business email compromise incidents across a range of industries including healthcare, financial and professional services, hospitality, retail, insurance, real estate, government and technology. More broadly, Stefanie’s experience includes defending litigated and non-litigated claims in complex multi-party financial and Directors & Officers disputes.

Dale Condon AMBCI – Manager, Governance Services and Business Continuity Lead, NSW Department of Customer Service. 
With over 30 years of experience in Banking and Business Resilience roles, Dale is passionate about all things business continuity planning and response. Dale’s current role as Business Continuity Lead for the NSW Government of Customer Service, responsible for the organisation’s business continuity and incident/crisis management framework and capability. Prior to this, Dale held the role of Business Resilience Manager at investment bank ABN AMRO, which later became the Royal Bank of Scotland.  Engaging with all levels of the Agency, Dale’s current position provides expertise on all business resilience matters to enhance the organisation’s readiness through programs of business continuity and incident management readiness.
