Topic: COVID 19: What to expect from a Second Wave

While some countries are gaining control over the COVID-19 outbreak, others are seeing spikes again after a period of containment. What is a second wave of COVID-19 and what does it mean for your organisation?

BCI Auckland Forum: Chapter Changes

Peter Halliwell and Simon Jordan have held the positions of Auckland Chapter Lead and Chapter Secretary for some 3 years are keen to step down and let some new blood into the roles.

Anyone interested can submit their names to the independent poll co-ordinator, Nalin Wijetilleke by email – [email protected]

The names will be assessed by the current chapter leadership team and the independent poll co-ordinator and be finalised within two weeks of closing the polls.

The Auckland chapter has the following voluntary office bearer positions

  • Chapter Lead
  • Chapter Secretary
  • Chapter Assistant Secretary

The office bearers are expected to commit toward fulfilling chapter expectations and responsibilities. The tenure is generally two years.

Please note that according to BCI requirements, only a voting member (AMBCI, MBCI, FBCI) can hold chapter office bearer roles.

Ability to source venues for chapter events and sponsors will be a distinct advantage in the selection for these roles.

The applicant will need to indicate:

  1. Applicant Name
  2. BCI Membership status
  3. Chapter position/role applied
  4. Engagement with BCI in the past years
  5. Professional contribution toward BC community
  6. Other supporting information
