Join the BCI South West England / South Wales Chapter for an informative and engaging free event .

This event promises to be a valuable experience for anyone interested in IT security, cyber exercises, and climate change risks on a BC practitioner’s radar. There will also be the chance to tour the Met Office’s Operations Centre.

You'll also have the opportunity to hear from the Head of Thought Leadership, Rachael Elliot, who will give an update from BCI and provide a brief overview of the main findings from the cyber resilience report. Rachael will also share BCI's thought leadership plans for 2023 - 2024 and beyond.

10:35 - 11:15 Climate Change - from a BC perspective

11:15 - 11:25 Short break

11:25 - 12:10 John Finch, IG Manager, Plymouth City Council, Cyber Security Breach in the public sector

12:10 - 13:15 Lunch break including Operations Centre tours

13:15 - 14:15 BC Cyber Exercise - Met Office

14:15 - 14:45 BCI Update, Rachael Elliott, Head of Thought Leadership

14:45 - 15:15 Open Forum: Questions from delegates, Future meeting themes, topics, speakers etc.

15:15 - 15:30 Closing comments and thanks. Critique/feedback on the day's activity and requests for the future.
