Welcome back to the second part of our Women in Resilience Allyship series!
As we progress to achieve our aim to Connect, Empower & Support more Women in the Resilience disciplines to become leaders and advance in their careers, there is a need to emphasize the importance of more people to be involved in Allyship for women in the Resilience industry.
Allyship is a lifelong process of building relationships based on trust, consistency and accountability with marginalized individuals and groups of people. Even more important is that allyship cannot be self-defined; our work and our efforts must be recognized by the people we seek to ally ourselves with.
This session will be hosted by the Women in Resilience Committee Members - Candice and Winifred. In this session, James Green will be discussing his experiences, his journey in allyship and answering your questions.
Join us as we explore the learning journey of how to be an Ally for Women in the Resilience Industry.
