Business continuity has been in the agenda of senior management of organizations from various industries for a long time. However, there have been examples of business continuity implementations are limited only with ‘Information and Communication Technologies’. Information Technologies are critical support functions and a resilient IT structure is about survival of the business for many organizations. However, it should be known that business continuity and cybersecurity are different disciplines which we cannot claim one covers all the aspects of the other one or in simple words, one of them is not a subset of the other one. In this webinar, we will be discussing on the intersections of cybersecurity and business continuity, after having a brief introduction of both disciplines. We will also talk about how they support each other through common processes and what are the well-known standards/practices that focus both cybersecurity and business continuity.
