Come and learn about Orion and how they have adapted their critical infrastructure network, post-earthquakes, to ensure a resilient and robust electrical network for Canterbury.
Program
3:30pm – Arrival, sign in (bring ID) and Safety briefing.
3:40pm – Orion Network Overview – presented by Stu Kilduff: Operations Manager Infrastructure
4:00pm – Tour of the Control Centre hosted by Manager Brett McClelland, followed by Q & A
4:30pm – tour ends.
4:45pm – for those keen to informally catch up afterwards for a pre-Christmas refreshment, meet at the nearby Lonestar Spitfire Square.
There is some onsite visitor parking inside the main gate to the right. Parking is also available on the street.
ID required to be presented before entering site.
