The BCI NSW Chapter team held a members meeting, live webinar and network drinks in Sydney on Thursday 4 July 2019 at the Studio Sydney Tower. The host, SAP, presented on “Maintaining continuity with an enterprise emergency notification system”. Jamie Horsfield from NSW Police presented on “The role of the Emergency Management Officer and how it links in with Organisational Resilience”. The topic of Lis and Raf’s presentation was “Maintaining continuity with an enterprise emergency notification system”. They demonstrate how to enable essential connections to maintain efficiency and productivity during planned and unplanned business events and disruptions. Using SAP People Connect 365 they showed how data can be integrated and validated for employees and assets distributed across regions and countries – establishing rules, business continuity plans, and incident response processes to reach people at the right time and place, on the right channel.

Jamie Horsfield - Regional Emergency Management Officer, North West Metropolitan Region NSW Police

The topic of Jamie’s presentation was the “Role of the Emergency Management Officer and how it links in with Organisational Resilience”. Jamie discussed the importance of co-ordination and communication between the Emergency Services and other involved organisations during emergencies.
