Message from the Chapter President
You’ve heard it time and time again… we are living in and working through a period of disruption, the likes of which we have never seen before. Last month news of the veld fires engulfing our beautiful Cape Town was all over the media and now I feel a sense of déjà vu with Day Zero lurking for Gqeberha residents.
During this critical time in history for our profession, as the new President of the BCI Southern Africa Chapter my key focus will be to go back to the basics and play my part in rewriting our future.
You will see a lot more activity on our social media platforms and we will be looking to you for feedback on what you would like to see and the frequency of our engagement with you.
Although this year may still prove to be as challenging as the past year, we focus on our present strategies and remain agile in our approach to navigating the pandemic and any other crises that may come our way. Imagine yourself in a cape because right now, that’s what you are, a superhero! So, let me congratulate you on your hard work. Fatigue has set in but hang in there!
