The BCI Americas Next Practice Group
The BCI is excited to be launching its Next Practice Groups initiative in early 2019. The idea of the Groups is to provide new, fresh thinking on the practice of business continuity and resilience to input directly into the BCI’s Thought Leadership program. The Americas Next Practice Group will be one of the pioneering groups and we are now seeking interested parties who may like to be part of this group. The group will be required to put together a maximum of three 5,000-7500 words publications per year: one on a global topic which will be worked on by all Next Practice Groups, and one to two publications which will be on local topics. We will form different working groups for each report published, and ask that you are prepared to commit a minimum of a year to the project.
The outputs will be managed by the BCI who will provide advice and support on content and layout, graphical production, printing and marketing of material produced.
Frank Lady has agreed to be Chair of the Americas Next Practice Group for the next year, and we are now seeking individuals across a diverse range of membership levels, sectors, genders, geographical locations and years of experience who would like to be part of the group. The primary requirement is enthusiasm, a willingness to want to contribute to future thinking in the practice of business continuity and resilience and the ability to write in a coherent and balanced way.
