On 16th May, the new and improved BCI website was awarded by memcom, the leading Conference and Awards event for professional membership bodies and associations, in the category “Most Innovative use of a Website”.

This news comes 7 months after the BCI launched the new website in October last year, transforming the way the Institute connected with its audience. The new platform presented visitors with an improved, more personalised user experience while establishing a new accessible look and feel.

By holding external usability testing sessions with BCI users, the Institute was able to deliver a final product which specifically responded to its audiences’ needs. From a cleaner design and brand new CPD (Continuous Professional Development) system, to new training and corporate partnership features, this website is nothing but innovative.

“The judges were impressed with the well-articulated objective and high impact with strong evidence for engagement, particularly with non-members. The clear results in the application demonstrated that the objectives were met.”

In a world where websites are a ‘common’ feature for businesses, having a website which truly is innovative and generated a unique online experience for the user is essential. In this, the BCI has showed great understanding of the needs of their audience, especially their members, and how to deliver them in the most user-friendly way.
