How to join

The NGN is open to BCI Members who are:

At an early or developing stage in their career in business continuity or resilience
New to the profession or transitioning into resilience roles
Seeking structured development, collaboration and leadership opportunities

The Network also actively welcomes engagement from experienced practitioners across the profession who wish to contribute as mentors, speakers, collaborators or champions. Cross-career knowledge exchange is central to the NGN’s purpose, ensuring that members benefit from shared insight, practical experience and diverse professional perspectives.

Participants Must:

Be a BCI member at any grade (or be willing to join)
Contribute constructively to Network activities and shared learning

Mentoring participation is encouraged as part of professional development and cross-generational exchange.

Leadership & roles

Governance snapshot

The NGN is led by a committee of regional champions comprising up to 12 members, with representation from each region.
Regional champions collectively oversee network activity, contribute regional insight and ensure coordination across the global community.
Regional champions serve defined terms of three to four years, with the option of subsequent terms to support continuity and renewal.
Hold bi-monthly meetings. Agreed outputs and updates are reported through established BCI governance channels, including to the Board of Directors where appropriate.
Decisions are made on a consensus basis, with transparent documentation and regular regional reporting to maintain accountability.
