今年度（2026 年度）第 1 回定例会を 5/13(水) 15:00〜16:30 に開催します。都内のリアル会場（丸の内）とオンラインでのハイブリッド形式での開催となります。 今回のテーマは、事業継続に影響を与える地政学リスクです。
直近の課題としてはもちろん中東情勢が多くの皆様の関心事かと思います。しかしながら、サプライチェーンが国境を超えて広がっていることなどから、最近の中東情勢に限らず様々な地域における地政学リスクも、企業の事業継続に影響をおよぼしうる要因のひとつになっていると言えます。そこで今回は、地政学リスクに関する基本的な知識や、情報収集の方法などについて概説し、さらに事業継続の実務者としてどのような役割を担うべきか、などについてディスカッションや情報交換ができればと思います。多くの皆様のご参加をお待ちしております。
なお会場でのご参加を希望される方は、5 月 7 日（木）までにお申し込みください。オンラインでのご参加は直前まで受付可能です。
The BCI Japan Chapter will have its FY2026 first regular meeting at 13 (Wed.) May 15:00〜16:30 (JST) as a hybrid event. The main topic for the meeting is geopolitical risk, which might affect business continuity.
The situation in the Middle East may be a hot topic for many of you. However, we have to recognise that geopolitical risk in various areas (not limited to the Middle East) is one of the causes of business interruption. We'd like to cover some basic knowledge and how to obtain knowledge and information related to geopolitical risk, and then discuss the role of business continuity practitioners about geopolitical risk. If you'd like to join this event in-person, please register by 7 (Thu.) May to keep your place. Virtual attendance will be acceptable until just before the event.

Kuniyuki Tashiro FBCI
BCM Consultant, Office SRC, LLC
Kuniyuki Tashiro has been a BCI Approved Instructor since 2021 and delivered the first CBCI training course in Japanese.
Kuniyuki has been a member of the BCI since 2008 and currently serves the Japanese Chapter as a committee member.
Since 2005 he has provided a consulting service in business continuity and disaster response for various sectors including manufacturing, IT services, financial services, logistics, hotels, retailing, and local governments.
He has spoken at some of BCI’s conferences in London (2015, 2013, 2012, 2011), Malaysia (2019, 2018), and China (2012). He also contributed articles on the BCI blog.
He is keen to popularise business continuity for small and medium enterprises through various seminars, workshops, and articles.
He also has experience as a Business Continuity Manager for a manufacturing company, and an IT Systems Administrator for an auto manufacturer. -
