Alex Fullick MBCI
Founder & Managing Director, Stone Road Inc, Canada
Alex Fullick is the founder and managing director of Stone Road Inc (StoneRoad), a consulting firm focused on business continuity management and resilience – in all its forms.
Alex has been working in the business continuity and resilience industry for over 28 years, starting a few years before Y2K.
He holds several industry certifications, presented at numerous conferences, and was the BCI 2022 global achievement award winner.
Alex is also the author of eight (8) business continuity and resilience themed books, an entrepreneur, and the creator and host of the globally recognized and successful podcast and YouTube channel, “Preparing for the Unexpected”.

Areej is a seasoned business continuity and resilience specialist from Sydney, Australia, with over 15 years of experience driving organisational resilience.
Currently, she serves as a senior resilience specialist and technical lead at Qantas Group, implementing and managing their Business continuity Management System.
Previously, Areej held similar roles at QBE Insurance and Westpac Banking Corporation.

Her experience includes over forty-five years working in the legal world and thirty-three years in management with the international law firm Hunton Andrews Kurth, LLP.
For the last fifteen years Kathy has been a frequent speaker and presenter at legal management and business continuity conferences, state and local bar association meetings and conferences, other association meetings and conferences, and with private service firms and businesses.

He has developed some unique tests & exercises for ensuring resilience during crisis & emergency with “role clarity” across the management hierarchy.
Kush has authored a book on BCM & crisis management. As a winner of multiple BCI awards he was inducted in BCI Hall of Fame in 2019 and has received other regional awards & recognitions.

Samuel McKnight CBCI
Business Continuity Analyst, Eversource Energy, USA
Samuel McKnight works in business continuity and emergency preparedness for Eversource Energy in Massachusetts, USA. After experiences in international security analysis and outdoor education leadership, he began a career in continuity on the operational resilience team at Tesco Bank in Edinburgh, Scotland. He lived there for three years until moving with his wife and daughter to Boston in 2024.
Samuel holds BC certifications from The BCI, DRII, and the US Federal Emergency Management Agency, and recently published an article on the value of BIAs in the Winter 2024 Disaster Recovery Journal. He was top of his class both in International Relations at Roanoke College (B.A.) and in his master’s in management cohort at the University of St Andrews, Scotland.
Samuel is a qualified Wilderness First Responder and spends his free time outdoors, having volunteered as a Park Ranger in the Pentland Hills (Scotland), and he is excited to begin a similar role in the White Mountains (USA).
