While conventional warfare remains the leading domain in the conflict, with active battlefields throughout the entire country, governments are also trading blows in other realms, such as the financial and digital ones. The latter, especially, is worth a closer look, as the world has never seen a cyber conflict with such high stakes. It should be clear that no country involved in the war has yet officially launched a cyber-attack, but it is also true that cyber warfare often follows unofficial channels and unwritten agreements, as the actors operate in grey areas.
