Sustaining Value through Business Continuity
The BCI Middle East Conference was held in Qatar on the 11 and 12th May and congratulations are owed to the Organising Committee for delivering such a successful event.
Opened by His Excellency the Minister of Energy and Industry in Qatar – Dr Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada – the conference kept an enthused audience up to date on the latest developments in business continuity and how they may apply to the Middle East. The attendance of His Excellency demonstrated the importance that the industry has to the region, particularly as it transforms itself in the build up to the FIFA World Cup in 2022.
Dorothy Crossan, Head of the National Resilience Capability Programme within the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, spoke of the impact that the tournament will have.
