BCI Australasia Chapter Virtual Coffee Catch-Up

The BCI Australasia Chapter is pleased to introduce a new series of Virtual Coffee Catch-Ups, open to all Chapter members across Australia, New Zealand and the wider region. Our first session will take place on 12 October at 3:00pm AEST and will run for approximately 30 minutes.
These sessions are designed to provide an informal, low-pressure way for members to connect with others across the Chapter, build professional relationships and stay engaged with the wider BCI community. There is no formal presentation or packed agenda — the focus is on conversation, connection and creating a regular opportunity for members to meet one another. Whether you are a long-standing BCI member, have recently joined, or simply want to become more involved with the Chapter, you are very welcome to attend.
The Virtual Coffee Catch-Ups will also provide an opportunity to hear occasional updates from Chapter members and guest speakers on topics such as regional events, forums and other activities relevant to the business continuity and resilience community. Importantly, these sessions will help the Chapter understand where members are interested in connecting locally.
We hope that the conversations and connections developed through the virtual sessions will help inform and support future in-person networking opportunities across the region. Following our introductory session in October, regular Virtual Coffee Catch-Ups are planned for the first Monday of each month from February 2027. Grab a coffee, tea or whatever works in your time zone and join us for an informal conversation with fellow BCI Australasia Chapter members.
