We are thrilled to announce the upcoming 2026 BCI Southern Africa Conference, proudly organised by the BCI Southern Africa Chapter. The conference will take place in Johannesburg from 12 – 13 August 2026, providing an exceptional opportunity to connect and collaborate with leaders in Business Continuity Management (BCM).

The theme for this year's conference is Resilience in an Age of Polycrisis. Building on the success of last year's event, which drew over 120 professionals from across Southern Africa over two days, we aim to make this year's gathering even more impactful.

Join professionals in business continuity, resilience, risk management, and governance from across Southern Africa for two days of insight, collaboration, and professional growth. This year's theme highlights how organizations now confront multiple, interconnected disruptions simultaneously, such as cyber threats, climate events, geopolitical instability, AI disruption, and supply chain fragility, rather than isolated incidents. It underscores the importance of holistic and adaptive approaches.

Key topics include:

  • Cyber resilience
  • Climate events
  • Geopolitical instability
  • AI disruption
  • Supply chain fragility
  • Operational resilience
  • Future-fit resilience
