Australasia Summit and Awards 2018
The BCI Australasia Summit was held in Sydney on 30 – 31st July and offered delegates a two-stream programme, which included lively panel discussions, topical presentations, thought leadership and interactive workshops across both days.
An exhibition was also hosted with leading organizations in the Australasian region, enabling attendees to visit stands and speak to vendors, for advice on the latest products and services available in the business continuity and resilience market.
Feedback received about the summit mainly from Consultants, BCM Practitioners and Newcomers to BCM were positive. Most attendees enjoyed networking with professionals and listening to a great variety of presentations, each with applied knowledge.
For the first time, the summit was the home of the BCI Australasian Awards. The awards were presented at a gala dinner. Entertainment included an amazing live band. The event provided the opportunity to meet and talk to top business continuity and resilience professionals from all over Australasia and to build new business relationships.
