The world is slowly moving towards a ‘new’ sense of normality after a long and tumultuous year. With vaccines being developed and starting to be distributed, we are finally beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

However, times are still uncertain. With social distancing, lockdowns, and travel restrictions still in place globally, some industries – especially the events one – are still facing major disruptions and navigating ‘uncharted waters.’

For 2021, The BCI is currently not planning to run any major physical events, but instead we are planning to bring you two major global virtual conferences!

BCI World Horizons– 16th- 17th June 2021

We are delighted to announce this new virtual event, which has been designed timewise for professionals and organizations based in Australasia, Asia, India, and the Middle East. Of course, we welcome delegates from all over the world and On-demand access will also be available.

For this first ever event, we encourage members of the business continuity and resilience community from the above regions to take ownership of the event. We are looking for volunteers to help us shape the content of the programme – so if you wish to be involved and become a member of the Programme Advisory Group or a session facilitator, please see the BCI World Horizons website for more information.

Interested in leading a session at BCI World Horizons? Call for papers is now available to enter. If you have insightful research, case study, experience or real-life story that you would like to present to a packed audience of business continuity & resilience professionals, then we would love to hear from you, simply complete the submission form

 BCI World Virtual 2021 – 3rd-4th November 2021

After its successful inauguration in 2020, BCI World Virtual will return in November 2021.

Our annual global conference welcomes delegates from across the globe, but the timing of this event will be more suited to those in the Europe, Americas, and Africa – and again sessions will be available On Demand.

We would also like volunteers for this event to join the Programme Advisory Group and/or facilitate sessions. If you would like to be involved, please visit the BCI World Virtual website for more information.

Call for Papers for this event will open in April 2021.

These two events will replace the BCI’s normal range of regional events and the BCI World Conference & Exhibition in the UK. We will continue to monitor the pandemic situation and events industry and adjust any plans accordingly.
