Can you tell us a bit about yourself/your organization?

BC Consulting is an Austrian based company specializing in BCM solutions, supporting clients across Europe. Our focus is on helping organizations build structured, efficient, and sustainable BCM programs through our software platform bcNAVIGATOR.

bcNAVIGATOR is an integrated BCM solution that supports the entire BCM lifecycle – from Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessment to Emergency Plan Management and Crisis Management.

What makes our approach unique is that we combine software, consulting, and training into one integrated solution. By bringing together technology and practical BCM expertise, we help organizations transform complex continuity requirements into clear, manageable processes that enhance transparency and strengthen organizational resilience.

What motivated you to become a BCI Corporate Sponsor?

The BCI plays a key role in advancing the Business Continuity Management profession globally. In Austria, however, awareness of the BCI and its professional community is still developing.

Becoming a BCI Corporate Sponsor allows us to actively contribute to strengthening the visibility of the BCI and the BCM profession in our region. At the same time, it gives us the opportunity to engage with the international BCM community and share our experience in developing practical and digital BCM solutions such as bcNAVIGATOR.

Through this partnership, we hope to support the growth of the BCM community while also expanding the reach of our platform beyond our home market.

Can you share some of the values and goals of your organization?

Our purpose at BC Consulting is “a better future through resilient companies.” We believe that resilient organizations contribute to stable economies, secure jobs, and sustainable growth.

To fulfill this purpose, we support organizations with a comprehensive Business Continuity Management approach that combines innovative software, high-quality consulting and customized training. With our platform bcNAVIGATOR, we help organizations manage the entire BCM lifecycle in a structured and efficient way.

Our work is guided by four core values: Excellence, sustainability and forward-thinking, reliability and collaboration. These values shape how we develop our solutions, work with our clients and contribute to strengthening organizational resilience.

How does your organization’s mission align with the BCI?

Our mission aligns closely with the BCI’s goal of strengthening organizational resilience and advancing the practice of Business Continuity Management worldwide.

At BC Consulting, our purpose is to contribute to a better future through resilient companies. Through our integrated approach combining innovative BCM software, expert consulting, and practical training we help organizations implement structured and sustainable BCM programs.

With bcNAVIGATOR, we support organizations in translating BCM frameworks and best practices into practical, manageable processes. In this way, we contribute to the same objective the BCI promotes globally: enabling organizations to prepare for, respond to and recover from disruptions effectively.

What do you hope to achieve through BCI Corporate Sponsorship?

Through our BCI Corporate Sponsorship, we aim to actively contribute to the growth and development of the Business Continuity Management community.

One of our goals is to help strengthen the visibility of the BCM profession and the BCI network, particularly in regions where awareness is still developing, such as Austria. At the same time, we value the opportunity to connect with the international BCM community and exchange knowledge and practical experience.

We also see the sponsorship as a platform to share our perspective on digital BCM management, including how solutions like bcNAVIGATOR can help organizations manage the BCM lifecycle in a more structured and efficient way.

Can you share a success story that your company is particularly proud of?

One project we are particularly proud of involved supporting a major hospital in Luxembourg in building a comprehensive Business Continuity Management System aligned with ISO 22301.

Hospitals operate in a highly critical environment where even short disruptions can directly impact patient safety. Through business impact analyses, risk assessments and crisis simulations, we worked with the hospital to identify vulnerabilities across key processes such as water supply, IT systems, supply chains, and emergency communication.

Based on these insights, targeted measures were implemented, including improved IT recovery planning, backup communication systems, strengthened supply chain resilience and reliable power and water availability for critical medical processes.

Supported by our BCM platform bcNAVIGATOR, the hospital was able to establish a structured and sustainable BCM framework. Today, it is significantly better prepared to maintain critical healthcare services and respond effectively to disruptions.

What kind of initiatives does your company have in place that the audience should be aware of?

A key initiative is the continuous development of our bcNAVIGATOR platform, which supports organizations throughout the entire BCM lifecycle – from risk assessments and business impact analyses to crisis management and recovery planning.

In addition, we provide expert consulting and customized training programs to help organizations implement BCM frameworks effectively and strengthen internal awareness and preparedness. Through workshops, simulations, and practical exercises, we support teams in translating BCM concepts into real operational readiness.

Together, these initiatives aim to make BCM more structured, accessible, and sustainable for organizations across different industries.

How can the BCI community connect with your company via the BCI Corporate Sponsorship?

We’d love to connect. Members of the BCI community can connect with us through BCI events, LinkedIn, professional exchange, and discussions around practical approaches to Business Continuity Management. We are always happy to share insights from our projects and explore how solutions like bcNAVIGATOR can support effective and structured BCM programs.

Is there anything else you would like the BCI community to know about your organization or your products/services?

One thing we would like the BCI community to know is that bcNAVIGATOR was designed to make Business Continuity Management practical and adaptable to different organizations.

The platform is highly configurable, modular and built around a single integrated data structure, allowing organizations to manage risk assessments, BIAs, plans, and crisis processes within one system. With features such as multilingual support, flexible interfaces and detailed permission models, bcNAVIGATOR can be seamlessly integrated into existing system landscapes and organizational structures.
