Philippe Borremans is an independent adviser, trainer and keynote speaker specialising in crisis, risk and emergency communication. He has worked with international organisations, governments, public health agencies, critical infrastructure operators, multinational companies and humanitarian organisations across more than 40 countries. He is Past President of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), former Vice President of the International Risk & Crisis Communication Association (IARCC), and the founder of CrisisCon, an annual conference for crisis communication practitioners. He is the author of the weekly Wag the Dog newsletter on crisis and risk communication and of two books on the same topic. His presentations draw on active international advisory work rather than historical case studies.
