Over the years, Gregory has cultivated a network of peers across industries, which proved invaluable during the COVID-19 crisis. He is passionate about mentoring professionals entering the BCM field, helping them develop both technical skills and confidence.
Gregory is also a frequent speaker at conferences on crisis management, personal resilience, and business continuity, consistently advocating for continuous improvement and growth.
As an active organizer of the BCI Belgium Chapter, he has strengthened regional collaboration and engagement. Gregory is motivated to join the BCI Board to bring a practical, people-centred perspective, foster community learning, and help shape the future of resilience through inclusive leadership.

Yes, I have prior governance experience through active involvement in steering committees and working groups focused on Business Continuity Management within organizations such as GSK and UCB.

Why serve on the BCI Board?
I am driven to serve as a BCI Board Director to help shape the future of resilience as a truly holistic discipline.
With over 10 years of experience in crisis and business continuity management, I’ve seen firsthand that resilience is not just about having a plan; it’s a mindset that connects BCM, disaster recovery, risk management, and crisis leadership. I bring practical experience in designing and leading large-scale exercises and highly engaging BCM sessions that go beyond theory to build real capability.
My goal is to contribute to BCI’s strategic direction by promoting integration across disciplines, fostering innovation, and preparing the institute for the next phase of growth. I believe my hands-on experience, collaborative mindset, and passion for continuous improvement will add value to the Board and to the global resilience community.
What skills and experience do you bring to the board?
I bring a unique blend of scientific, managerial, and resilience expertise to the BCI Board. With a background as a chemist, a Master’s in Total Quality Management, and an executive degree in management, I combine analytical thinking with strategic leadership.
I have over a decade of experience leading crisis and business continuity programs in global organizations, including governance roles in steering committees and working groups at GSK and UCB. My holistic approach to resilience bridges BCM, disaster recovery, risk management, and crisis leadership.
I have designed and led large-scale exercises and engaging BCM sessions that build real-world capability. My commitment to continuous learning is reflected in my participation in Harvard University’s Kennedy School executive training on Leading Crisis Management.
