Marcus Turner, Director - Governance & Risk at Gifted Risk Solutions, will present on the 2019/20 Bushfire Season, the worst in Australia’s history.

Marcus’ presentation will consider how the communities responded and how that response has become more difficult in recent times, as well as the implications for business continuity planning, community resilience and where to from here.

Themelina Johns, Risk & Resilience Advisor at Lion, will wrap up the year with the experience and learnings of a disruptive year in a global organisation, with multi-faceted impacts and a few wins to boot. Considering the reports and trends from Horizon Scans from the last 5 years, Themelina will highlight the irony of 2020 being the year that no-one saw coming and look to reset, refine and prepare for 2021.
