    David Bollaert FBCI

    Senior Resiliency Specialist, Marjason Consulting

    David is a highly experienced resiliency and business continuity professional with over 20 years of expertise in designing, implementing, and enhancing enterprise-wide resilience programs. His work spans Business Continuity Management (BCM), IT Disaster Recovery, crisis management, pandemic preparedness, supply chain resilience, enterprise risk management, and process improvement.

    He possesses deep knowledge of regional regulatory frameworks, including NCEMA, NRC, NCA, and DGA, as well as emerging international standards such as PRA and DORA. David’s cross-sector expertise includes extensive engagements across public and private entities—ranging from ministries, government and regulatory bodies, and utilities, to organizations in financial services, asset management, healthcare, retail, telecommunications, aviation, and manufacturing.

    Throughout his career, David has led key resilience projects for high-profile organizations in the GCC region, including the UAE Department of Finance, Saudi Railway Company (SAR), STC, NEOM, MCIT, CHI, WTTCO, SFDA, ZATCA, and various Royal Court entities.

    David’s approach is strategic and practical, with a strong focus on regulatory alignment and operational continuity. His proven ability to foster resilience cultures and guide organizations through complex risk landscapes has earned him a trusted reputation among clients and peers alike.

    As an accomplished speaker, David has presented at numerous industry conferences and forums, sharing insights on resilience and continuity strategies. His contributions to the field have earned him recognition at the prestigious annual Business Continuity Institute (BCI) Awards, where he was twice shortlisted – for Consultant of the Year and for Industry Personality of the Year.

    David is a certified ISO22301 Lead Implementer, a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute (FBCI) and a member of the Leadership Committee of the BCI Saudi Arabia Chapter. He is also a BCI Approved Instructor affiliated to Marjason Consulting DWC-LLC (BCI Licensed Training Partner).
