Meet the Speakers
 

  • The irrepressible Stephen Nuttall FBCI will bring decades of experience and insight into how to set up Policy and Programme Management and Embedding. Stephen has taught the GPG for many years and always brings something new to his presentations for new and old hands alike. During this session, new starters can get to grips with the GPG Professional Practices 1 & 2.

 

  • Mary Mercer is Business Continuity Manager for Riverside Group. The Riverside Group transform lives by providing well maintained, good quality affordable housing whilst creating opportunities to increase household income through our programmes of employment, affordable warmth and money advice. She will be telling us how we, as Business Continuity Professionals, can help prepare our organisations for winter.

 

  • Vicky McDonnell was Head of Emergency Planning and Business Continuity at The Manchester Metropolitan University, but has recently joined a big 4 Consultancy. Knowing how to work effectively with our public sector agencies is something every BC professional should know. Learn what works and what doesn’t and make your interactions with public sector all the better.

 

  • Matt Gilbert is Managing Consultant for Daisy Group, one of the largest professional services companies specialising in Business Continuity and Resilience. He will present a case study based on real life where we can get the learnings from events without having to go through the pain ourselves.
