What hazards have we been faced with and most importantly how do we prepare for the possibility of them materialising? In recent years, we also had to deal with compounded disasters putting us to the test. Chene is an executive IT governance risk & compliance management professional, with over 20 years of technical, consulting management and leadership experience within various industries. Chene’s industry experience includes retail, financial Services, petroleum, mining, manufacturing, automotive, transport, public sector, healthcare, hotel & casino. She holds a post-grad in compliance management, is an ISO 22301 – Lead Auditor (BCLA 1022074) and privacy implementer – (PMP 1022074).

    Nashikta Authar Angadh

    Associate Director , KPMG

    Biography

    Nashikta Authar Angadh is an Associate Director in KPMG’s Technology Advisory business unit in Durban. She has been with KPMG for over 11 years and is currently heading up the Cyber Security service line for KZN and leads the Business Continuity service line for KPMG South Africa.

    Nashikta specialises in Business Continuity and has earned the AMBCI designation after having passed the BCI examination with distinction. She recently won the award for BCI Industry Personality of the Year 2016 for contributions in the field. Nashikta is also an ISO27001 Lead Implementor and ISO27032 Lead Cyber Security Manager.

    She has worked in Europe and extensively throughout Africa. She is passionate about women in technology and has presented at a number of women in leadership events. This coupled with her strong spiritual background and passion for what she does has enabled her to become an effective and inspirational leader.
