BCI Gifted Grades open for nominations
BCI Gifted Grades are awarded each year to individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the profession or the institute.
BCI members of AMBCI grade and above can nominate someone they think deserves recognition. Then our board reviews the suggestions, and awards the grades. Applications must be received by 9am (BST) on Monday 9th September 2019.
Entries should be in a narrative form and sent to [email protected]
There are 5 types of award available each year:
Honorary MBCI
This is for individuals who’ve made continual and notable contributions to business continuity and resilience. It recognises:
- Outstanding contribution to the BCI as a member for more than seven years
- Significant contribution to the business continuity industry for over ten years
Honorary FBCI
Hon FBCI awards recognise those who’ve made major contributions to business continuity. It recognises:
- Outstanding contribution to the BCI as a member for more than ten years
- Significant contribution to the business continuity industry for over 15 years
BCI Achievement Award
The highest non-membership award we give to individuals. Before awarding one of these we look for:
- A number of quality contributions to the business continuity industry
- A significant contributor to the Business Continuity Institute
- Long service to the institute or a relevant industry
BCI Merit Awards
A non-membership award from the institute. A Merit Award recognises:
- A number of quality contributions to the business continuity industry
- A significant contributor to the Business Continuity Institute
- Long service to the institute or relevant industry
BCI Lifetime Achievement Award
The BCI Lifetime Achievement Award is for a living professional (member or non-member) and recognises a lifelong, outstanding and influential contribution to the world of business continuity.
