Global organizations of every size and across industry sectors are facing the challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, for SMEs and micro businesses that do not have allocated resources for business continuity plans, these unprecedented times can be even more detrimental.

In today’s unpredictable world, business continuity is key for organizations to continue operating even during crisis situations like a pandemic. The ability to adapt and thrive through any kind of crisis is an important factor in the fast paced reality that we live in. Resilient organizations are the ones that not only will survive a disruption, they will also gain a competitive advantage and create new opportunities from a difficult situation.

Realistically speaking, for SMEs having an in-house person responsible for business continuity planning can be a financial burden, but there are other ways through which SMEs can acquire business continuity skills that will help them become resilient.

We are proud to launch the first webinar designed exclusively for SMEs and micro-businesses who are looking for ways to keep their operations running during the COVID-19 pandemic - but also during any other emergency situation.

BCI Member and Resilience Consultant, Chris Mcfee, will present a session where he will share basic business continuity principles and ‘quick fixes’ that can deliver proportionate plans to reduce overall risk even when dedicated resources are not available. Click here to register for the free webinar and join us on 8th April at 11:00 AM (BST).

Our efforts don’t stop here! For this year’s Business Continuity Awareness Week (BCAW 2020) we have an entire webinar stream dedicated to SMEs, which will feature presentations addressing needs and pain points faced by small organizations. For more information, visit the BCAW website here – the full webinar programme will be released at the end of April!
