Information technology application in business continuity management

Hosted at the Headquarters of Humberside Fire & Rescue Service, Summergroves Way, Hull, East Yorkshire, HU4 7BB.

The event is free for BCI Members and £10 for non-members to attend. Those attending in person should arrive between 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM to register. The event will go live online at 11:00 AM. 20 in person spaces are available on a first come first served basis. Onsite car parking is available, and tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day. There is an on-site café serving hot and cold food and snacks. Attendees may also bring their own lunch of they prefer. Lunch will also provide an opportunity for networking. 

  • Divakar Pandion will join virtually from Dubai and present on the #MakeResilienceAccesible initiative and the role of AI. 
  • There will then be a break for lunch, there is an on-site café serving hot and cold food and snacks. Attendees may also bring their own lunch of they prefer. Lunch will also provide an opportunity for networking. 
  • Following lunch Gemma Buckley, Lead Sales Executive from Riskonnect will deliver a fire side chat entitled The Hidden Benefits of Business Continuity Software …. and how it can make disruption response easier and more effective IT provision for incident management. 
  • Jules Hunt, the event host from Humberside Fire & Rescue Service will then speak about resilience within the Fire & Rescue Service. 
  • Russ Paramore, Chapter Leader, will round off the day and provide the BCI update. The event will finish at 15:00 PM

    Gemma has over seven years’ experience of helping organisations automate their business continuity and resilience programs, including meeting regulatory requirements and gaining ISO22301 certification. In addition, Gemma used to work in a call centre organisation where she gained first hand experience of recovering from events such as flooding.
