The BCI is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Credly to offer BCI Members the opportunity to showcase their expertise in Business Continuity and Resilience.

The last two years have been some of the toughest for professionals working in the industry, thrust into the spotlight to deal with the pandemic in circumstances not experienced by any before. Business Continuity and Resilience quickly rose to the top of the agenda for nearly every organization and began to receive the attention it has long deserved.

The BCI wants to continue raising the profile of the profession by helping and supporting its members raise awareness of their expertise in this field.

Therefore, the BCI is introducing credentials – verified records of membership and skills – to share with their professional networks in the form of Digital Badges. These Badges are sharable on any digital platforms including social media, email signatures, your CV/resume, and across the internet.

By sharing your Badge, you are helping to not only raise awareness of the important work all Business Continuity and Resilience professionals are doing across the globe, but also raising your own profile amongst your peers, colleagues, employers, and possible future employers.

Building our own resilience through networks - The BCI want to help their members benefit from the BCI community and make it easier to connect with each other. We recognise the unique skills required to work in the sector and the importance of sharing insights and support through best practice. Credentials make it easier to connect with members through raising profiles and visibility online.

There will be a phased roll out of these Badges starting on Tuesday 1st March for FBCI’s and then every two weeks for every other BCI membership grade available (MBCI – 15th March / Associate Member – 29th March / CBCI – 12th April).

Each member will receive an email from Credly inviting you to create an account and you will then be able to share you Digital Badge however you choose.

BCI Chair, Chris Horne FBCI, commented “Digitalization and modernization are key considerations for every organization.  We are very pleased and excited to be introducing our new digital badges that allow us to recognize the achievements of our examination candidates and certified membership, as well as promote the BCI.”
