Join Charlie Maclean-Bristol in this thought-provoking webinar as he compares the incident management skills and performance of a traditional in-house business continuity team with that of artificial intelligence (AI). Both human and AI teams will be put through the same crisis exercise—and their responses analysed side by side.
About the Scenario – Exercise Prometheus
Charlie recently delivered a full-day training session called Exercise Prometheus, a high-impact, scenario-based crisis exercise designed to stretch experienced crisis and incident response teams.
Set at a fictional UK theme park operator, Mystic Ventures, the exercise immerses participants in a dynamic and realistic scenario involving:
- A serious rollercoaster accident
- Escalating reputational fallout
- Intense media and stakeholder pressure
- Complex internal coordination challenges
The exercise tests real-time decision-making, communication under stress, and the team’s ability to respond effectively to rapidly evolving events.
The AI Challenge
Charlie will now run the same scenario, but this time, using AI to play the role of the incident management team. The AI will receive:
- The same incident information and situation updates
- Identical tasks, priorities, and strategic goals
- The same response plan as used by the human team
The goal: to explore how well AI can handle the demands of incident management and whether it can complement or even outperform human decision-making under pressure.
What You’ll Learn
- How AI and humans compare in managing live crisis scenarios
- Which tasks AI performs well, and where it falls short
- How AI could be integrated into existing crisis management plans
- Whether AI has the potential to change incident response as we know it
We look forward to welcoming you!
