    Saul Midler is a seasoned and very highly regarded Business Continuity and Resilience (BC&R) expert with over 30 years experience in the industry. He has been a member of the BCI since the mid 90’s, and is currently working as Senior Manager, Business Resilience at AGL.

    He has been recognised with the following awards:

    • Global Business Continuity Consultant of the Year in 2013;
    • Australasian Business Continuity Consultant of the Year in 2013;
    • Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute in 2014; and
    • Honorary Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute in 2019

    He serves on the following Standards Committees:

    • Represents the BCI Australia on the Standards Australia Technical Committee - MB025
    • Represents Australia in the ISO technical Committee - TC292. In this capacity, Saul has contributed to, and co-authored, many of the Resilience family of standards including ISO 22317 - BIA, ISO 22318 Supply Chain Continuity, ISO 22330 - People Aspects of BC, ISO 22331 - Strategy, ISO 22316 Organisation Resilience, ISO 22360 Crisis etc.
    • Was the global project manager for the 2019 revision of ISO 22301.

    Wasim Malik FBCI

    Principal Consultant GRC, CyberCX, Australia

    Wasim Malik has over 25 years’ experience in GRC, Business Resilience and Risk Management across the globe, including Australia, New Zealand, UK, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE and India. A big advocate is that ESG and resilience have too much in common and risk and resilience professionals must plan and integrate ESG into their resilience and risk management plans.

    As the CEO and Founder of Risk Professionals, Wasim is delivering expert consulting in Business Continuity Management, Cyber Resilience, and Artificial Intelligence, ensuring comprehensive risk management solutions. As a global partner of PECB, Risk Professionals also provides accredited training across all ISO standards, empowering individuals and organisations worldwide to achieve certification excellence.

    Wasim Malik has worked previously for major banks and consulting companies, and implemented GRC and Business continuity programs successfully, adopting PAS56, BS25999 and ISO22301. Until recently, he was Principal Consultant GRC at CyberCX.

    Wasim has won multiple awards, including two BCI Australasian awards and one BCI Global award and then inducted into the BCI Hall of Fame in 2018. Wasim Malik has been nominated for the Lifetime Achievement Award 2023 by DRI (Disaster Recovery International). Wasim previously served as a Director on the BCI Global Board.
