Purpose
The purpose of this Chapter is to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for new members, to provide them with a network of like minded professionals, and with opportunities for collaboration and professional development, within the region.
It will provide a useful forum for members and, where appropriate and relevant, subject matter experts from outside of the chapter/region, to share their knowledge, experiences and challenges to help raise the bar for business continuity throughout all industries.
The Chapter will also promote the mission and values of the BCI throughout the region and aims to drive regional growth.
Objectives
- Relaunch the London Chapters and increase membership
- Ensure that the Chapters meet the needs of its diverse membership through regular engagement to find out what is most important to them, by encouraging them to identify the areas of continuity and resilience which are important to them, so their needs are represented.
- Host genuinely useful in person sessions with relevant subject matter experts as guest speakers, meeting three times per year
- Identify emerging issues and concerns as focus topics
- Encourage non BCI Members to join the BCI
- Encourage networking through the LinkedIn Chapters group
