Between October and November 2025, BCI Members will vote to elect three new Board Members - and one of them could be you. If you’re ready to bring your unique perspective to the table and help shape the future of our global institute, it's now time to step forward.

What does the Board do?

The BCI Board is the strategic leadership body of the Institute. It:

Sets the BCI’s strategic direction
Oversees governance, risk, and compliance
Upholds the Institute’s values: Collaboration, Innovation, Excellence, Inclusivity, Mutual Respect
Ensures BCI remains a globally respected voice in resilience

Supported by committees like FARCOM and REMCOM, the Board ensures robust oversight and ethical leadership.

Who Should Apply?

We welcome candidates who bring:

Strategic thinking and leadership experience.
Knowledge of business continuity, resilience, or related disciplines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
A global or regional perspective.

We especially encourage applications from:

Women, younger professionals, and underrepresented groups.
Members from Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East.
Individuals with lived experience of resilience in varied contexts.
